Hello! Welcome to the Hello Pledge.

Posted on July 24, 2012 by Mo Douglas Mobilize Strategies

Want to create a friendlier, healthier, more connected community?  The Hello Pledge is an easy way to start.

The Hello Pledge invites you to commit to saying hello to other folks throughout your day.

Whether you live in a big city or a small town, recent research tells us that we don’t feel very connected to our neighbours and fellow citizens these days. We don’t say hello in the street, we don’t look each other in the eye, we don’t connect.

Let’s change that with the Hello Pledge.

A simple hello makes people feel acknowledged as part of their community. And almost every friendship starts with a simple hello. Make someone’s day — meet their eye and say hello (in a friendly, casual, keep on walking kind of way, not a too intense, mistaken for a stalker kind of way – just so we’re clear.)

Help bridge our growing community disconnect. Join the Hello Pledge HERE (and invite your friends to join too!)
